Spirit

Spirit's Bio:

A boy named Josiah named me when I came to the ranch and boy is my name fitting! I am a very spirited Arabian! In my past I was a national champion in my competitive class. One day at my other owners ranch, I got tangled very badly in barbed wire and it cut deep into the tendons of my knees, so I couldn't compete anymore. I grew a large calcium deposit on one of my knees and my owners gave me to a vet. The vet kept me and removed the deposit which made me feel a whole lot better. Then the vet gave me to a nice lady and she took me for a ride when I was healed, we took a ride up in the mountains and back down and my knee swelled up pretty good. Then my owner lost some of her income and couldn't afford me anymore, she heard about Zoe Sky Ranch, called Danielle and she and John came to see me. Well, they loved my personality, but went home to pray about me because I would need medical attention and that can cost big bucks!

While common sense was telling them no, their hearts were saying yes, they just couldn't shake me...so they just believed God for the cost of vets. So, here I am and I have taken over. I stole the Alpha position from Bullet, he still is a little resentful, but for the most part we are buddies.

Well, today I am all healed, no swelling at all! I ride kids 150 pounds and under... just to be safe. I love it on the ranch, there is so much room for my Arabian personality, I am well cared for and very loved.
